Choosing Toys for Your Child

Here at TechConnext we put a lot of thought into what type of toys kids like and the benefits our toys can provide for the children that play with them. Many of our products are made to be played with in several different ways, which helps to support creative and imaginative play.

As a first time father, I learned that my toddler son loves to take things apart and then put them back together again. He also loves building and adding onto things, along with putting things into and pulling things out of just about anything that holds something. Toys that can be played with in many different ways help to encourage problem solving and logical thinking skills, which are so important in a child’s growth and development. Toys that grow with your child and remain fun in different ways during their different stages of development are also important things to consider when choosing a toy for your child.

Toys that encourage exploration and problem-solving, toys that spark your child’s imagination, toys that help your child develop early writing and reading skills, and toys that encourage your child to be active are things we continually work to incorporate into our toy development.

And always remember…The more a toy does (in terms of lights, music, sounds, batteries), the less your child has to do. The more children have to use their minds and bodies to make something work, the more they learn." ~ Parenting Center, Mount Sinai
